#BOTD 2022 – Week 45

Monday, November 14th, 2022

Whoa Germany! We also hit East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast Canada. Can you tell who’s who? Go find something new to listen to on repeat like I am.

If this is your first time here, I’m the worst music reviewer.

Don’t forget to show these bands some love…follow the socials, buy the music/merch, etc.

P.S. Protect trans lives. Say gay everyday. We can’t and won’t be erased. Be a safe space for your local and not so local queers to land. We see you. We are here for you. We love you.

P.P.S. Safe abortion for all. No compromise. No Apology.

Here’s the recap of new (to us) bands we listened to last week (11/07 – 11/13).

xoxo Jaclyn

Week 45

11/07: Chain Whip
I listened to the EP from 2021, Two Step To Hell. Super bright, super fast, hardcore punk. Favorite Track: Laguna Bleach

11/08: Routine Fuss
New music Tuesday? I checked out the new full length, I (Never) Want To Be Left Alone. Noodle(y) alt-punk? Favorite Track: Canceled Plans

11/09: Pierre
I listened to the full length from 2021, Deliriant. This wins the “most 90s vibes” of the week (maybe year) award. Grungy punk. Favorite Track: Fragments

11/10: Between Bodies
New music Thursday? I checked out the new full length, Electric Sleep. If this was an award show, it would win one of the, “Top stumble upon of the week” awards. Emo(y) punk. I pushed play and there was no going back. Well done. Favorite Track: Lucifer, I Wanna Be Everything (all of them)

11/11: Chiefland
New music Friday! I checked out the new full length Quiet Confidence. It’s got all the things you want – sweet melodies, sweet harmonies, catchy bits, darker bits. Well done. Favorite Track: Fluorescent

11/12: Dial Drive
I listened to the 2019 full length, Wasted Time and the new singles. Catchy, mostly fast, melodic pop punk. Favorite Track: Going Postal

11/13: Bike Age
I started with the 2020 EP, Bonzo goes to quarantine, then checked out the full length from 2019, Steps I Take – Images I Fake Punk Rocks! It’s catchy skate punk, that’s not afraid of ska or politics. Well done. Favorite Track: Time and wartime again
